The Hotel Del Clos is a fantastic example of what a ski hotel should be, that's why we chose it for our Neilson Mountain Collection. The wooden clad and carved walls invite you in and warm you up straight away. There's a tremendous feeling of space as the wide corridors guide you to the many chill-out areas.
The bar and lounge area offer plenty of options to relax and refuel. They also become a real focal point during après-ski, as does the huge sun-terrace. It's definitely worth grabbing your drink and a seat to watch the sunset turn the slopes of El Tarter a delicious orange.

Food and drink
The half board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals consist of a three-course buffet of regionally inspired dishes all followed by fresh coffee. You can buy drinks to accompany your meal from the bar.
All of the rooms in the Del Clos are really spacious with big, deep mattresses, flatscreen TVs and fully ensuite bathrooms with hairdryers so there's no need to pack your own. Most rooms have pretty impressive views out to the mountains views. Some also have a balcony or terrace to add to the experience.
Club and economy twin or double rooms, and club triple rooms for two to three people
Twin, double and triple rooms, some with a balcony or terrace.
Rooms for sole use are available.
Club quad rooms for two to four people:
These large rooms have twin beds and built-in wooden bunk beds suitable for adults or children, separated from the main bedroom by a partition. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace. One room has two bedrooms; one with twin beds and the other with bunk beds in a small room off the hallway. There is also a large terrace offering mountain views.
Families and Children
Our youngest guests will be well catered for with our childcare and crèches taking care of kids from four months to 12 years old. For skiing kids, we offer a ski school drop-off and pick-up service, ensuring they're happy and settled. There's also evening care available on three evenings a week.
The hotel facilities include a games and TV room for all ages to spend some time with their new found friends. When conditions are right, there's a snow garden for younger guests to get creative and build up an appetite before high-tea at 5pm.
Ski Guiding & Coaching
Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors with our Mountain Expert service.
Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.
There's at least one session a day and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. Your hosts will explain how it works when you get there.
El Tarter is part of the massive 210km Grandvalira ski area. The snow conditions are good throughout the season (obviously warmer in spring) but you'll often see amazing snow in Andorra when the rest of Europe is struggling.
It's also home to one of the best ski schools in Europe too. They'll transform nervous beginners into confident improvers in no time. The speedy and advanced can also choose from a range of classes and clinics to push skills to the limit.
El Tarter is a really laid-back mountain town. Après is low-key with a few bars to choose from. L'Aberset bar straight off the slopes is pretty lively until about 8pm. Or head to the hotel's own bar to carry on the party feel.
Not only is El Tarter a good choice for all levels of skier and snowboarder, the resort lends itself to those looking to enjoy a more chilled-out week.
