Niseko is regarded as one of Japan's top ski areas with an efficient lift system across its 5 resorts (Annupuri, Higashiyama, Hirafu, Hanazono and Moiwa. You can pretty much bet on amazing deep powder as it seems to constantly snow. There is plenty of terrain for all abilities including in-bounds skiing, side-country and back-country tours are also available. The resort also offers night skiing up until 9pm every night of the week.

- Japan is known as something of a powder haven. The snow will often be deep so we recommend bringing or renting skis and snowboards tailored to these conditions.
- Bring lots of YEN in cash as many shops and restaurants do not take credit cards. We recommend at least 60YEN per day.
