25 miles from the Austrian border in the heart of the Dolomites is the picturesque and unspoilt village of Arabba. Situated between the more well known ski resorts of Corvara and Canazei, its scenery will take your breath away.
Beginners will learn the ropes on their skis or board on the nursery slopes near the Burz chairlift, there aren't many gentle ropes to progress onto in this area, Corvara may be a better pick for beginners.
Intermediates will have a fantastic range of slopes to choose from, nearby to the Sella Ronda circuit and easy access the rest of the Dolomiti Superski area.
Head over to the Sella Ronda where there are some challenging steep slopes to master. If you want to explore further, then head to the Dolomiti Superski which offers an incredible range of red and black runs.
There are limited choices for eating out in Arabba, but the few hotels all have busy restaurants and there are a couple of independent offerings also.
