Les Menuires is located in the beautiful Belleville valley. Ski holidays in here offer a quiet, inexpensive base from which you can explore the 600km of pistes in the Three Valleys. Les Menuires is quite quiet compared to other Three Valley resorts so the choice of bars, clubs and restaurants is small, but good. Many of the places to stay here are slopeside too, so very convenient for the keen skier.
There is a huge range of wide, gentle slopes across the Three Valleys, Les Menuires itself is a lot less crowded than the others so is ideal for beginners to practice.
On one side of the valley is La Masse which can be reached by a gondola from just below the village. The runs from the top are mostly reds or fairly easy blacks but the skiing here is best-suited to intermediates and more advanced skiers. Once again, easy access to the 600 km of pistes that the 3 Valleys has to offer means that an extensive amount of intermediate terrain is at your fingertips.
If you really want to test yourself La Masse offers some steeper terrain and high quality snow. You can also try some of the off piste routes that run down to Val Thorens, the Vallon du Lou is a wide open run which is normally very quiet.
Not a fan of skiing? Don't worry, there are plenty of activities to do in Les Menuires, including; Dog sledging, cross country skiing, off piste guiding, fat biking, tobogganing and many many more.
Dining & Nightlife
There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants to choose from, from traditional dishes to tasty pizza and even Mexican. Les Menuires is cheaper than the other resorts in the Three Valleys, and when it comes to nightlife, there are many lively bars, pubs and clubs to get you in the party mood.
