La Rosiere caters for all types and levels of skiing. It is a fantastic resort for families, and children will quickly gain confidence on the quiet pistes while the more advanced adults can take off for a day on the big slopes.
Head to the ski school to learn the absolute basics where you will be able to practice your new skills on the green slopes before heading off on to the wide gentle blues above.
Most of the pistes are blue and red runs, ideal for Intermediate skiers. Ski up to the Petit Saint Bérnard pass and explore pistes around La Belvedere.
Whilst there are not many black runs, experts will have an enjoyable holiday exploring the off-piste areas; those wanting to stay on pistes should head towards La Thuile for the more difficult runs and generally with the better powder.
Dining & Nightlife
Evenings in La Rosiere are relaxed with a handful of bars and restaurants, around 20 or so. There is a limited choice but what's there is good quality food. You can find affordable pizzas and crêpes or simply cross the border to Italy for some Italian cuisine.
