Nestled in the Finnish hills on the borders of Lapland, just south of the Arctic Circle, a visit to ruka is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thanks to its extreme position just below the Arctic Circle, the temperature this far North rarely climbs above 0°C all winter, preserving snow excellently through the season.
