Lech consists of different districts which all have their different advantages: Dorf, Anger, Omesberg, Tannberg, Strass, Stubenbach, Oberlech, Zürs and Zug.
Lech offers gentle nursery slopes, which are located next to the village centre. The blue runs are long and wide which are ideal for those beginners. More confident beginners can catch the Rufikopfbahn and snake down to Zurs.
The area is paradise for the intermediate skier or snowboarder. The clockwise circuit of The White Ring is a highlight of the intermediate terrain. Other favourites include runs off the Steinmahderbahn in Lech.
An experienced skiers' dream with probably the best, most challenging off-piste skiing in Austria, as well as some Superb black runs. There are several ski routes to keep the advanced skier entertained.
Snowboarding in Lech
The wide open slopes are ideal for snowboarding. There is a boarders’ funpark under the Schlosskopf chairlift in Lech and the Salober snowpark in Warth.
Eating & Drinking
There are over 55 restaurants around Lech town, from cosy inns to well-known gourmet restaurants, most of them are inside or attached to hotels. Lech's nightlife is sophisticated and friendly, with outdoor ice bars serving champagne and hotspots lining the main street, there's a lot of fun to be had here in Lech.
